Thank you so much for your interest in serving on the worship team! Finding a place to serve in the local church is a great way to get planted and grow personally, as well as have the opportunity to be used and give back out of your gifting.
The Worship Team provides a creative outlet designed to draw upon the skills and talents of those interested in serving on our vocal team or as a musician in the band. Through our weekly rehearsals, we are committed to helping you develop your God-given talents for use in the life of our church. This is accomplished through practical training, teaching, culture development and building relationships with each other, in addition to engaging in worship together as a team.
There are 3 steps you need to complete in order to sign up for an audition:
1. Read through our team commitments.
2. Register for an audition. (after you audition you will immediately receive a link with mp3, lyrics, chord charts and additional information.)
TEAM COMMITMENTS: You must complete Discovery classes 1-4 before you can audition.
- Attend/Complete all Discovery classes (1-4). This does not apply to Axis students.
- If you are considering being a part of the worship team and you are currently serving on another team, we ask that you work with your other team leader giving them 2 weeks time to replace you on their roster, or to re-roster you for a different service.
- Consistent attendance to our weekly rehearsals on Thursday nights from 7pm-8:30pm.
- We ask for all worship team members to be willing to rotate through the different campuses from time to time.
